About this trip
Set sail from the modern port of Marina di Fezzano in the municipality of Portovenere, or from the Mirabello port in La Spezia, to delve into the heart of the Gulf of Poets, a stretch of Ligurian coast that has inspired writers and poets over the centuries and is best explored today from the sea. You can also embark from Porto Mirabello or directly from Portovenere, depending on the option that's most convenient for your group. The voyage opens up along the coasts of San Terenzio, Lerici, and charming Tellaro, villages overlooking the water with their vibrant colors and history. The landscape gradually becomes wilder as you approach the archipelago of Palmaria, Tino, and Tinetto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, amidst secret bays and waters that change hue with each promontory.
The journey continues to the postcard-perfect bay of Portovenere, where you can choose to disembark and explore the famous village on foot, with its pastel-colored tower houses and the church of San Pietro perched high above the sea, or stay on board and enjoy total relaxation. Depending on the weather and the group's preferences, the itinerary can be adapted to include Scoglio Ferrale, Le Rosse, or Monesteroli, for those seeking an alternative to the more popular stops.
The crystal-clear waters surrounding these islands are perfect for a refreshing swim, with the option of using a stand-up paddleboard or donning a mask and snorkel for snorkeling among Liguria's clearest seabed. On board, you'll find water, coffee, and soft drinks always available, along with fresh fruit and traditional snacks such as Ligurian focaccia or pizza, a light lunch featuring seafood or traditional local pesto, as well as wine, sparkling wine, or Italian sparkling wine to accompany your carefree day.
For those who want to extend the magic of the day, you can stop in the Portovenere canal after 9:00 PM to witness a sunset of indescribable colors, with an aperitif and snacks served directly on board (extra cost). Fuel is included in the price of the day, so you can enjoy the experience worry-free from start to finish.
The experience is entirely customizable: contact the owner via chat to tailor it to your needs.
