About this trip

Enjoy an exclusive sunset cruise aboard a brand-new Karnic R8S powered by a 300 hp Mercury engine, accompanied by a local skipper. Departing from Marina do Funchal at 6:00 pm, head west along Madeira’s spectacular coastline and discover the island from the sea as the light turns golden.

Cruise past Câmara de Lobos before reaching Cabo Girão, where 580 metres of basalt cliffs plunge dramatically into the Atlantic. On the 2-hour trip, you’ll turn back at Cabo Girão. Choose the 2h30 option to continue along the west coast as far as Ribeira Brava.

There is no swimming on this sunset trip, as the water is too cold at this time of day. For swimming and paddleboarding at Fajã dos Padres, choose our daytime boat trip instead.

Drinks and snacks are included on board, along with local Poncha and free drone footage, weather permitting.

The experience is fully private and limited to 5 people, with your group only and no fixed schedule. Your skipper speaks French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, German and Italian.
