About this trip

Set out from Hvar for an unforgettable 8-hour boat tour to the best of Vis Island and its surrounding caves. This full-day cruise offers the perfect blend of nature, adventure, history, and relaxation — all at your own pace.

The journey begins with a swim at Smokova Beach, a peaceful sandy bay on Vis Island known for its soft sea bottom and calm waters. Next, we cruise to the magical Green Cave, where a beam of sunlight shines through the rock into the water, giving it a glowing emerald color. Entrance to the cave is optional and ticketed. Soon after, you’ll visit Stiniva Beach, a narrow, cliff-framed bay that was named Europe’s most beautiful beach — the perfect place for a swim or photo stop.

As the tour continues, your skipper may stop at smaller hidden caves along the coastline before heading to the famous Blue Cave on Biševo Island. Inside, the water glows an intense blue thanks to a natural light effect — an experience not to be missed. You’ll also visit the lesser-known but impressive Monk Seal Cave, a long sea tunnel once home to rare seals and accessible only by boat.

Midday, you’ll stop in Komiža, a charming fishing town where you can enjoy lunch by the sea, explore the harbor, or just relax. Before heading back to Hvar, the tour includes a look at WWII bunkers and tunnels carved into the island’s rocky coast — a unique part of Vis’ history. If time allows, a final swim stop near Hvar will close the day.

This tour is perfect for travelers who want more than just beaches — combining natural beauty, iconic caves, charming villages, and historical landmarks all in one smooth, scenic cruise.
