Red Hour: Sunset Aperitif on the Water

White, yellow, red: every hour of the day has its own light, and this is the most beautiful. Three hours aboard Sea Vibe, departing from the Port of Talamone, set aside just one moment: the moment when the sun sets and the sea lights up with colors unseen from land.

We meet around 5:30 PM (the time is adjusted to the actual seasonal sunset) and sail toward Cannelle, one of the most picturesque coves Francesco visits on the boat, where you can swim and snorkel before the light truly changes.

And it's there, at anchor, that the most delicious moment of the evening arrives: warm crostini with traditional sauces, such as liver, cured meats selected from the Fonteblanda butcher, and local cheeses drizzled with local honey, all products of the Consorzio Agrario della Selva. A small, authentic platter, unpretentious yet meticulously crafted, paired with a glass of prosecco, a spritz, or a cold beer, plus a few crisps to round off the moment with a light touch. All this while the sky above you turns from golden to red, with Francesco at the helm, knowing exactly where to stop for the best sunset.

There's not much sailing in this experience: just time to stop, taste, and watch.
