Description du propriétaire

If you've made it this far, it's because you're considering chartering a boat in Menorca. BWA is one of the most renowned brands of RIBs in Europe, and its extensive experience has led it to create a range of models with different series, well-adapted to market demands, featuring a discreet, elegant design without extreme or futuristic shapes, and with a very rational layout. The Premium series is the brand’s finest presentation, with a hull design featuring a pronounced V-shape at the bow and large-diameter tubes. This BWA Sport 26 GT is the sister model of the BWA Sport 28 GT, differing in length and beam—a difficult choice when renting a boat in Menorca.
The Suzuki DF 200 HP engine, possibly Suzuki's best in terms of power/performance/consumption ratio, allows for sailing with minimal fuel consumption. Like its larger sister, the BWA Sport 28 GT, it has a sporty yet classy design—it's a very beautiful boat. The 200 HP power allows for fast navigation while maintaining very low fuel consumption and outstanding performance.
Beyond speed, its handling is exceptional, both in tight turns and at mid-throttle over waves. The sharp bow cuts smoothly through the water, preventing pounding.
Outstanding engines on a hull that has everything, proven in similar-length models from the same brand. A combination of technology, comfort, and elegance, with high-level seaworthiness in a quality product, offering a high degree of versatility and excellent finishes.
The BWA 26 GT comes with a large bimini and a spacious bow sundeck. Many small details make this RIB special, with its charm lying, among other things, in the discreet elegance of its lines. The stern area can also be converted into a second sundeck by adjusting the table height.
At the stern, it features a double swim platform, a shower, and a ladder. The cockpit area includes a U-shaped wraparound sofa around a height-adjustable table that can transform into a spacious sunbathing area. This is complemented by a central unit with the helm station and a bow section with the main sundeck.
The storage capacity in both the bow and stern is remarkable, with large compartments and a very well-balanced layout, designed for comfortable cruising.
The helm station is comfortable, safe, and offers excellent protection and ergonomics. The steering position allows for a relaxed posture, whether standing or supported by the bench with a footrest. The control panel includes all necessary indicators.
For safety, the boat is equipped with a patented system integrating electronic components such as a SIMRAD GO 7 chartplotter, a tablet with communication capabilities, and a set of integrated sensors that generate alerts with relevant information, continuously transmitting them to both the boat and the office.
It uses Navionics charts with bathymetry, points of interest including coves, rocks, and even restaurants with phone numbers for booking directly while sailing. The app allows you to select a destination and automatically chooses the safest route, providing an estimated arrival time. The boat’s GPS guides you both day and night, which is especially valuable when visual references are lost.
With the integration of communication components and systems, alerts are sent simultaneously to the boat and the office in cases of impact, excessive speed, battery failure, water in the bilge, or anchoring in protected areas. The security system also provides weather forecasts, tracks nearby vessels, and grants access to instructions for operating the boat’s components.
The boat is equipped with a VHF radio for following IMO radio procedures and an additional communication link with the office. If an unexpected situation arises that you don't know how to resolve, you can contact the office, where most issues are resolved remotely. If necessary, assistance is provided on-site, as we always know the boat's exact location.
