A day in Otranto on a motorboat

Tommy the Gozzo is based in Otranto and is available for both half-day and full-day trips. It is 6.8m long and can carry up to 7 passengers plus the skipper.

Otranto is a historic seaside town and port on the Adriatic coast of southern Italy, in the region of Puglia. The coastline outside Otranto is renowned for its beauty, and there are more stretches of popular beaches to both the north and south.

Departure from and return to Otranto heading north stopping off for swimming at/seeing some of the following:

Grotta della Monaca, a sea grotto Baia Morrone, a lovely bay Baia dei Turchi, another bay where the Turkish landed in 1483 Porto Badisco, a beach said to have been the arrival point of Aeneas in Italy after leaving Carthage
